A scare

I hope every one's Christmas was wonderful. Mine was, as always, a great time to be with family and friends and feel like I'm going to BURST with happiness.

We actually hosted Christmas Eve at our place, (Well I did, because Mike was at work, boo) but anyway it was stressful and my back was killing me and I have not yet learned the old rule of taking it easy while within your first trimester. Hmmmm.

Anyway, it was great, but I'm glad its over.

On Saturday evening I noticed a bit of bloody discharge coming from down yonder. I was a bit worried but didn't make a huge deal out of it. I read, and re-read and read again about the millions of possibilities of what it could be. The "M" word. Sunday morning when I woke up there was a bit more, but not a lot. I wore a pad to monitor just how much it was and it was not a lot so I let it go and called the doctor this morning and talked to the head nurse and she said its probably because of some SEX! we had. She advised me to take it easy (whatttt?) and to seriously not lift anything heavy, like all of the heavy heavy adorable children I had to smootch at Christmas time, and no tampons or SEX! for a few days. Eh, whatever. I'll take it easy, I'll refrain from sex for a bit but not lifting up adorable children that I love so much??? Well, that's gonna be a toughie!

Anyway, I will be monitoring the situation closely but I'm feeling great right now!
