I made this list back in December of 2009. I must have been a nicer, more thoughtful person back then, because I look at this shit now and I'm all WTF was I thinking? The * have been added today. Enjoy my lack of motivation. I hope it rubs off on you.
Here goes nothing:
1.
Have a baby
2. Take a photography class
3. Try 10 new restaurants
4.
Buy a home *We are Starting the process as we speak, and hopefully it will only be another few months.
5.
Photograph a wedding
6. Get on a plane and go somewhere I've never been
7. Hang all of my paintings/art
8. Fix and Repaint the doll house for future baby Dee
9.
Get Ollie a playmate* (Crossed this off because we now consider Charlotte our dogs playmate)
10. Visit a friend I haven't seen in ages
11.
Write hand written thank you notes (done for wedding gifts, and baby shower gifts, and any other appropriate thank you note time)
12. Use my newly-wed cookbook once every two weeks
13. Stay in a cabin alone with Mike,
while its snowing outside *(stayed in a cabin, with 6 other people, and Mike, while there was a blizzard outside at the very end of December. This half counts)
14. Deposit $5 into a special savings account for every goal accomplished
15. Walk Ollie everyday for a week (0/7)

Take a me day once a month for every six months (1/6) *I have a child, this no longer exists.
17. Plant flowers in my front yard planter
18. Read an Ayn Rand novel

Get a new dining room table (but find a good deal on it!) *Getting my mothers old table that I grew up with FOR FREE!
20. Purchase an unjustifiably expensive dress or shoes or purse

Have a date with my girlfriends once a month *It is hard to make this happen, but I've realized that it is incredibly important.

Have a date with my husband once a month *Thank GOD for grandparents who practically beg to spend some time with Charlotte, so Mike and I get out of the house.
23. Visit Mike's family in South Dakota

Quit my job *I have taken this off of the table because as luck would have it, I now love my job.
26. Go to at least two softball tournaments a year

Keep personal spending to $50/month *Again, I have a child. This is not a problem for myself, but if I could only stop buying dresses, size 12 month. Hmmmm.
28. Blow up a wedding picture to hang in our house
29. Talk to both of my brothers weekly
*Younger brother is elusive, but I tend to talk to/see my older brother fairly often.

See my nephew Ethan once a month (at least) *Crossed off the list for the reason being relocation of my brother-in-law, sister-in-law and subsequently Ethan. :-(. Stupid Alabama.

Clean out all closets and donate extra crap to Goodwill (10/6) Done back in October, and still do it.
32. Paint over or take down wallpaper in dining room

Photograph a newborn baby *Photographed my newborn baby. This counts. Shut up.
34. Never pick up another cigarette in my life
35. Read 20 new books
*I'm in the middle of Henrietta Lacks as we speak, I'm also reading Pride and Prejudice PLUS all of the pregnancy/newborn books, I've got to be close to 20.

*Elusive younger brother is going for all 3 days. Can you smell the jealousy?

Tried to learn, learning failed. I'm too fat.

*I gave her a grandchild, what else does she need? Kidding.

Change my last name to Dee *DONE. I became Dee, bitches.

Get a library card *What else in a new mother with no income on her part coming in supposed to do? I went to the library A LOT with newborn Charlotte.

Take a photo a week of my growing belly when I start to show *I pretty much did this, until I started to feel gross, which didn't take too long.

Send in one of my photos to a contest *Did and didn't hear anything back.

Write a letter to myself to open in 10 years *Did this while I was pregnant. One to her and one to myself, to open on her 10th birthday.
51. Write a letter to my husband to open in 10 years

Write a letter to my child to open every 5 years beginning on their 5th birthday I was so fraught with anxiety my entire pregnancy, I must have written her a million little notes/letters/thoughts while I was pregnant with her. I can't wait until she can read them.

Touch my toes *Not mathematically possible. My legs are long, arms are short. Will never happen.

*I put (for fun) in this when I first did I forever ago? FOR FUN? What, was I going to shoot an intruder in the face and then come back here and cross it off? For fun.

Cut my printing off stuff from the computer by half *Thank you modern technology for allowing this to happen. Now I just email things to my iPhone.

Be really good at that one thing people know you are really good at *I may not be an excellent photographer, I don't even own a lens or a flash or anything, but it is really nice when people ask you to take their picture. It's the highest compliment I've ever been given.

Get our landlord to build a shade area for us on our back patio *Never going to happen. And it is almost summer. Lord get me out of this house.

*My husband cooks, I'm really no good at it but I try to replicate what he does, but cut off the salt intake by about 90%.

*No time, and not enough patience.

Shop at the Downtown Phoenix Public Market

Learn to take things with a grain of salt *I must have been in my "I'm pregnant and want the world to be a better place" phase when I wrote this. I take everything seriously, I wear my heart on my sleeve, and I can't that.
88. Visit a Pollock and a Warhol in person

Visit with my friends at the Children's Museum of Phoenix every six months (May 2010, November 2010, May 2011, etc...) *Going as much as possible, can't wait until Charlotte is old enough to enjoy it.
90. Get a bicycle

Complete the 5,000 questions survey*Not all of the patience combined in the world could get me through that. Plus that people really don't need to know 5000 things about me. I don't even know 5000 things about me.

Get a standing mixer and use it once a week
*Got a big mama kitchenaid mixer, in GRAY nonetheless. I love it, but haven't used it much due to time (Charlotte) constraints.

Visit a local brewery, and taste all of their beer
*Went to SunUp in north central Phoenix. Beer was amazing, but couldn't taste all of it because my private chauffeur was off for the night.
94.
Meet the President of the United States on his next trip out here *Failed. He came out here after the Tucson shootings, I couldn't make it down to Tucson, but that speech will go down in history for me as one of the most beautiful things I've heard in my life.
95. Hike to the top of Camelback
96. Visit a city in Arizona I've never been to, preferably Bumblebee

Participate in Gay Marriage rallies until it is legal in Arizona

Convince a close-minded friend that gay marriage is OK*
Love it.

Visit a new bar/restaurant in downtown Phoenix. *Been to many. Bliss/ReBar is my favorite. The loaded mac in cheese is like the most amazing thing in the world.

Love my husband everyday, and make sure I tell him so.
*Marriage is hard. It is a job within a job, but I love my husband and tell him everyday and he tells me everyday, and I think we'll be OK.
