As I have mentioned here before, Mike and I work opposite schedules so most days we are left to parent singularly. That sounds depressing, beacause it is and it sucks and I hate it. Whoops.
Anyway, Charlotte is very good at entertaining herself, which comes in very handy when I need to do a load of dishes (by hand, no dishwasher) or fold some laundry or something that takes my time away from keeping an eye on her.
But sometimes Charlotte gets crabby (don't all 10 month olds?) and needs to be entertained. Which is why I suck these little plastic toy blocks to my [large] forehead and dance around and sing and make my kid laugh. That is the goal of my everyday, make my kid laugh. This was yesterday.
