Second post in one day. Ok, ok...work is slow right now, and I deserve myself a break.

So I'm Stefanie, or soon-to-be Mrs. Dee, whichever you prefer. I work in Politics as an administrative assistant and have a knack for starting, but never finishing anything. I'm not crafty. I'm not frugal. And I hate saving money. I'm an Arizona native and yes, its a dry heat. I love music, and watching the Diamondbacks play baseball. I have a panic disorder, and am dealing with it one day at a time. I have mostly good days, but there are some bad ones mixed in there.

Michael and I met 4 years ago and have been together for 3. We got engaged March 20th of 2008 and are having (Gasp!) a 20 month engagement. There are so many reasons for the long engagement, but the biggest being that awful money word. I'm amazed at how fast the engagement has gone so far, but with about 9 and a half months to go, we are starting to feel the pressure. I love Mr. D endlessly, and selfishly and I'm pretty sure nothing could ever come between us, other than our pug Ollie who tends to sleep right in between us every night, to my displeasure of course.

We are both beer drinking, sport watching kind of people. We can't wait to get married, buy a house, and get ready for that next big step in our futures.

I want this blog to serve as real life. We don't have a ton of money, and we're not totally paying for the wedding ourself, though some expenses will be coming from us. People said we wouldn't work and that we're too young to get married, but I'm happy that we get to prove the nay sayers wrong.
