Being a mother means:

• I haven't shaved above the knee since the day before I had my kid
• I got a REALLY ugly haircut because I thought it would be more manageable. Other wise known as the "mom cut". It backfired.
• Going to work with spit up on my shirt 4 days out of 5
• Being no longer able (nor willing) to do a keg stand and walk away with my dignity
• Making the hardest sacrifices
• I have no time to blog but starting today I am making a conscious effort to do it 3 times a week.

Alright friends. I'm sorry. It has been a long while since I've made a post here.

I've been back at work now for the last three weeks.  Leaving Charlotte is the hardest thing I do everyday but I do it for the good of our family.  There is the sacrifice for ya.

I had a very busy weekend filled with family breakfast and a surprise birthday party (insert keg stand bullet point here) and then watched a little of the Cardinals game and then I finally went home.

I'm exhausted. All the time. But I need to write. It is my outlet.  Expect more soon... but for now I will leave you with this:
