When you're a parent:

Just some fun thoughts for a Monday morning

• The little plastic insert for a sippy cup becomes your worst enemy
• When socks become necessary, you don't care that they match, or even that they're clean, you just care they are wearing any at all.
• Toddlers don't eat. So you feed them crackers and goldfish so they'll at least eat something. And then you wonder why they won't eat their chicken and veggies. Dur.
• After the age of (about) 6 months, your kid doesn't want to snuggle with you unless they're sick, so do a lot of snuggling before that sad day when they wiggle out of your arms for good.
